We have successfully installed Conky on Linux Mint and we also have successfully configure Conky and run it as well. However, when Linux is booted, Conky does not run automatically, it must be called with the command: conky. Now we will try, how do we make the Conky application run automatically when Linux is turned on?
  1. Click Menu - Session and Startup
    Menu Application Linux Mint Tricia Xfce
  2. Click Application Autostart tab, then click Add

  3. Fill the Add application form
    Name: conky
    Description: system monitor
    Command: conky -p 5
    Trigger: on login
    note: conky -p 5 it will run the Conky application with a delay of 5 seconds
    Klik OK
    Add Application to Automatically on Startup Linux Mint Tricia Xfce
  4. Reboot system.
